Dr. Kendra Thoren is a board-certified Interventional Radiologist with over 13 years of experience providing exceptional care to patients across the greater Portland area. A proud veteran and retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, Dr. Thoren brings a unique blend of military precision, advanced medical training, and compassionate, patient-centered care to her practice.
Education & Training
Dr. Kendra Thoren completed her undergraduate studies at Northwest Nazarene University before earning her medical degree from Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Madigan Army Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). Dr. Thoren is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
Military Service
Following her medical training, Dr. Thoren served for over 25 years in the U.S. Army, including active duty and reserve roles, culminating in her retirement as a Lieutenant Colonel. Her military background informs her leadership, discipline, and commitment to excellence in every aspect of patient care.
